Welcome to Veil & Violet. These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you use our website, purchase products from the Mystic Market, or book spiritual services including readings, healing and spellwork.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and any other policies displayed on our website.
1. About Veil & Violet
Veil & Violet provides spiritual services and sells physical spiritual, mystical and lifestyle products through our online store.
Our services may include psychic and tarot readings, spiritual readings, Reiki, spiritual healing, energy work, spellwork and other spiritual services.
Our Mystic Market offers physical products including crystals, divination tools, candles, incense, spiritual gifts, jewellery, homeware and other related products.
2. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
This includes your name, email address, delivery address and any information required for the service you have purchased.
Once your order has been accepted, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where there has been an obvious pricing error, payment has not been authorised, the product is unavailable, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive activity.
If we cancel an order that you have already paid for and no goods or services have been supplied, you will receive an appropriate refund.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
The price displayed at checkout is the price payable for your order, together with any applicable delivery charges.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be completed.
We may change our prices from time to time, but changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.
4. Mystic Market Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate.
Because colours and appearance can vary between screens and individual products may naturally vary, photographs are intended to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible.
Stock availability may change.
If an item becomes unavailable after you have ordered it, we will contact you and provide an appropriate solution, which may include cancellation and a refund for the unavailable item.
5. Delivery
Estimated delivery information is provided on our website or during the ordering process.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we specifically agree otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Nothing in these Terms affects your rights where goods are not delivered within the timeframe required by applicable consumer law.
6. Returns and Refunds
Returns, cancellations and refunds for physical products are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
Customers purchasing physical products online may have statutory cancellation and return rights.
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts your rights under UK consumer law. Businesses cannot use contract terms to remove responsibility for faulty or misdescribed goods.
7. Spiritual Services
Spiritual services provided by Veil & Violet may include psychic readings, tarot readings, oracle readings, crystal ball readings, mediumship-style services, Reiki, healing, energy work, spellwork and other spiritual services.
These services are personal and interpretive in nature.
Individual experiences and outcomes vary, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
For example, a reading cannot guarantee that a predicted event will happen, and spellwork cannot guarantee that another person will behave in a particular way or that a particular romantic, financial or personal outcome will occur.
8. Readings
Psychic, tarot and other divination readings are based on spiritual interpretation and guidance.
Readings reflect the information and interpretation available at the time they are carried out.
Future circumstances can change, including through your own decisions, other people's decisions and events outside anyone's control.
A reading should therefore not be treated as a guaranteed prediction of future events.
9. Healing and Reiki
Reiki, energy healing and other spiritual healing services are complementary spiritual and wellbeing practices.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical or mental health conditions and should not replace professional medical treatment where it is required.
No particular health, emotional or personal outcome is guaranteed.
10. Spellwork and Spiritual Work
Spellwork is provided as a spiritual practice based on personal belief and intention.
We cannot guarantee a particular result, timeframe or change in another person's behaviour.
Payment is for the time, preparation, materials where applicable, and spiritual work involved in carrying out the service rather than for a guaranteed outcome.
11. Cancellation of Spiritual Services
Cancellation and refund rights relating to spiritual services are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
Where a customer requests that a service begins during a statutory cancellation period, the rules applying to services that have already begun or been completed may apply.
Where required, appropriate customer consent will be obtained before relying on any loss of cancellation rights.

Our psychic, spiritual, tarot, healing and related services are provided for spiritual guidance and personal reflection.

Purchasing a reading, service or product does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.

We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
